Who can resist the combination of sour cream, sugar, marshmallows (need I say more?) along with mandarins, pineapple, grapes, pecans, and everyone’s favorite; maraschino cherries.
This cool whip ambrosia salad is perfect for pot lucks in the park, hot summer days, or just a treat any day of the week. It’s great to have in the fridge any time those cravings hit.
This fun dessert makes me think of “fruit salad yummy-yummy” the popular song by the Wiggles. My kids listened to it over and over and it’s stuck in my head. Ha! You’re welcome!

- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ½ cup sour cream
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup mandarin orange slices

- 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
- ½ cup chopped pecans

How To Make Pioneer Woman Ambrosia Salad
Serving size – ½ cup
Number of Servings: 6
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Additional Time: 1-hour chilling time
Step 1: Whip heavy cream in a mixing bowl and beat until stiff peaks form.
Step 2: Add in the sour cream and sugar and mix until smooth.
Step 3: Add in the mini marshmallows, mandarin oranges, pineapple tidbits, green grapes, coconut flakes, and pecans.
Step 3: Mix everything together.
Step 4: Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 4: Spoon into pretty bowls, add a cherry on top, serve and enjoy!
