How to Make Yummy Heart-Shaped Strawberry Poptarts
Once you make these homemade strawberry poptarts I can almost guarantee you’ll never go back to a store-bought version ever again. This yummy recipe comes together so quickly and so easily and most definitely tastes way better than anything that comes out of a box from the grocery store.
Flaky pie crust filled with tart strawberry pie filling makes the perfect hand-held treat or breakfast on the go. What I love best about this recipe is that you can easily substitute your favorite filling flavor or even create a mixed batch based on your family’s preferences.
If someone wants a strawberry poptart, no problem. If someone else wants a blueberry poptart, easy peasy. Just make sure to have a few cans of different pie fillings on hand. Sprinkle your favorite cake toppings, drizzle with glaze, or just eat them as is. You can also bake them up as you need them so they are fresh from the oven each time.
Bake up a batch and leave them in the fridge or on the kitchen counter so the kids can grab one on the run in the morning or for a snack after school. Or you can even pop one in their lunchbox for a treat to eat at school. Eaten warmed up or at room temperature, they’ll taste great either way.
