Dollar Tree Pumpkin Wreath Door Decor (featuring a Denim Messy Bow)
Create this adorable pumpkin wreath door decor using old jeans and topped off with the cutest denim messy bow. It’s a unique and festive way to welcome friends and family for the fall season. With most of the supplies from Dollar Tree, it’s a budget-friendly craft too!
You may have seen the fun denim messy bow I shared last week. Well, today I’m following it up with a denim pumpkin wreath that the bow is perfect for! And you know I’m all about quick, easy and inexpensive crafts.
This DIY door decor checks all the boxes as just about everything is from Dollar Tree. If you don’t have a pair of old jeans that you want to repurpose, you can always find them at thrift stores for cheap. See how I used old jean pockets to make a darling patriotic banner.

How to make A DIY DENIM PUMPKIN WREATH
Start by running a bead of hot glue on the wire wreath form. Press the nautical rope onto the hot glue.
QUICK TIP: You can protect your finger tips with these inexpensive finger protectors.
When you get to the end of the first wire spine, add a piece of clear tape around the edge of the nautical rope to make it easier to cut. Once cut, add another bead of hot glue to secure it to the wreath form.
Continue the same process for each wire spine of the pumpkin form. It goes much quicker after you have secured the first piece.
NEXT…
To make the wreath look more finished, I also glued the nautical rope around the outer edge of the wreath form. I went with a twisted look of the rope on the bottom of the pumpkin to mimic the natural look of a pumpkin bottom.
This really does not take long at all. The entire project only took about 30 minutes.
Add rope to the pumpkin stem as well, using the same tape technique to make cutting easier.
Now comes the adorable denim messy bow. Use a zip tie to attach it to the top of the pumpkin wreath, just below the stem. Doesn’t it look so cute?
that’s it!
At the last minute I decided to add a leftover piece of denim to the underside of the wreath. I cut it to fit the shape and size of the wire wreath form. Just run a bead of hot glue around the outer edge of the wire and secure the denim. Trim off any excess and you are done!
I just love how it turned out, and I’m so glad I went with the denim backing. It really makes the nautical rope pop, doesn’t it?
