Make your fall tablescape shine with a little bling by adding this easy-to-do twist on a mercury glass pumpkin! After first seeing the Pottery Barn version of these glamorous, antique looking glass finished pumpkins; making them myself just seemed the natural thing to do LOL! I like to think that buying it is just too easy and not near as much fun!
>>>BE SURE TO PIN THIS FOR LATER!<<<
First of all, this is “nacho average” pumpkin! You will need the following resources that can be found in my Amazon shop under “Shop the Project- Looking Glass Pumpkin” the link isunder the ‘shop’ section of the website.
- Glass globe light cover
- Wooden stick
- Krylon looking glass spray paint
- Spray water bottle
- Trim (whatever you’d like, I used rope and satin ribbon)
- Battery-operated votive
- Glue gun
The spray paint makes it nearly impossible to do this inside, so this project is a great excuse to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air! So there’s that! Watch the full tutorial on the video below
The final pumpkin did not disappoint. It added all the extra “bling” my navy and gold fall tablescape was missing! What do you think?
