Ingredients for chocolate zucchini cake
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup oil, vegetable or canola
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh zucchini – grated
- 1 cup walnuts
How to Make Zucchini Cake
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly spray 13×9 pan with cooking spray
- Whisk together all dry ingredients in a large bowl
- Add wet ingredients and mix until well combined but don’t overmix
- Pour into pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean
- Cool completely
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve with whipping cream if desired
