HOW TO MAKE BOHO DOLLAR TREE EASTER DECOR
Remove the label from the candy bowl. You can use goo gone to remove any leftover residue.
Paint the plastic bowl with the chalky finish paint using a chip brush. I used a beautiful soft blue color called Vintage. If you are an impatient crafter like me, you can use a heat gun to speed up the drying time. It’s kind of a great thing!
Split the clothespins in half by twisting them until they separate. Hot glue each clothespin to the painted candy bowl until the entire bowl is covered.
Hot glue a piece of the pretty studded ribbon around the entire candy bowl. Be sure to run a little hot glue around several sections so it is nice and secure.
Fill the entire bowl with spanish moss. Paint the plastic Easter eggs with the chalk paint. Hot glue a band of wide lace ribbon around the center of the painted egg. Add a touch of BOHO glam with decorative rhinestone and pearl accessories to the middle of each egg.
EASY BOHO DOLLAR TREE EASTER DECOR
This was so simple to make and turned out beautiful! The soft shades of blue look so pretty against the natural finish on the clothespins. But, you can really make this project your own and paint the clothespins if you like, or use different colors to go with your own home decor.
Another great thing about this BOHO decor is once Easter is over you can remove the Easter eggs and add other decor like wood beads.
