Easy steps to make a wreath bow
Using a pillowcase for fabric makes this bow one of the easiest you can make! Anyone can make one of these and it’s fun to think of all the endless options when it comes to pillowcase fabrics!
Grab a pillowcase and follow these easy steps below.
Step one
Start by cutting off the hem of your pillowcase. This is usually at the very bottom where the opening is.
Step two
Cut down both sides of the pillowcase seams and remove them. They are just a little too bulky for this project.
Step three
Next cut approximately one and a half inch notches across one end of your fabric.
Step four
Rip each of the cuts into strips.
Step five
Remove the loose strings on the frayed edges of the strips.
Step six
Gather the strips and assemble them as one piece of fabric. Proceed to form a regular bow.
Step seven
Zip tie your bow together at the center.
Step eight
Fluff out the loops of the fabric on your new wreath bow!
Glue a piece of bling to the center of your bow if desired.
What a great way to upcycle an old pillowcase! What do you think?
This is a quick and easy project that anyone can do, so don’t be afraid to get creative.
