How to make a Dollar Tree Gnome
Start by folding the bottom heel part of the Dollar Tee slipper under so the faux sheepskin is showing. This will be the gnome’s beard.
Continue to flip it under until you have enough of the sheepskin showing. This represents the gnome’s beard.
Next up you want to hot glue a pine stem on the hat. This gives it a festive holiday look.
add the GNOME TO A WREATH…
To really showcase this little guy, I added it to a grapevine wreath layered on a fresh Christmas wreath.
Doesn’t it look just adorable? And to think this started out as a Dollar Tree slipper! I’m so happy with how it turned out.
Definitely keep an eye out the next time you are at Dollar Tree. I bet a red slipper would make a pretty gnome too.
lastly…
Add a bow on the bottom of the wreath for a little extra detail. I went with a gorgeous satin bow in a dreamy green color. Of course, I had to add a little bling with the addition of a rhinestone to the center of the bow. That’s all there is to it! What do you think?

Dollar Tree Gnome WREATH
Here are just a few ways you can decorate with your gnome wreath. Of course, hanging it on your front door is the obvious choice, but here are a few more ideas.
- Hang it indoors above your mantel, or table.
- Add it to an old window, or in the middle of an empty frame for a little dimension.
You can add the gnome to a sign, or a tiered tray or even add it to gift wrapping. How would you decorate with this Christmas gnome? Let me know if you make your own by leaving a comment below.
