Easy Avocado Deviled Eggs with Fresh Dill

Today I’m sharing a quick and easy recipe for you to try for a new twist on an old classic, avocado deviled eggs with fresh dill. Even with the price of eggs these days, they are still one of the most nutritious ways to snack!

Did you know I used to have chickens in my backyard? It’s true! We raised them from babies, but they were mean little devils; chasing us and pecking at our feet.

Avocado Deviled Eggs Recipe

Ingredients for Avocado Deviled Eggs with Fresh Dill

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Extra dill sprigs, for garnish

Instructions for Making Avocado Deviled Eggs

  • Hard-Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12-14 minutes.
  • Drain, cool in ice water, and peel.

  • Prepare the Filling: Slice the boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks. In a mixing bowl, mash the yolks with avocado, mayonnaise, mustard, dill, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Fill the Egg Whites: Spoon or pipe the avocado mixture back into the egg white halves.
  • Garnish: Top each filled egg with a small sprig of dill for a nice touch.
  • Serve: Arrange on a platter and enjoy!
