Tips for Perfect Deviled Eggs

  • Peeling the Eggs: To make peeling easier, use eggs that are at least a week old. Fresh eggs can be more difficult to peel.
  • Smooth Filling: For an extra smooth filling, press the yolk mixture through a fine-mesh sieve before adding the other ingredients.
  • Coloring: Be careful with the food coloring. A few drops go a long way, and you can always add more to deepen the color.
